Adobe Acrobat and Creative Cloud Eligibility for Faculty, Staff, and Students
Introduction
The University of Alberta provides eligible faculty, staff, and students with access to Adobe software. Available products and licensing options depend on your University affiliation.
Applicability
This article applies to University of Alberta faculty, staff, and students who want to know which Adobe products are available to them.
Adobe Software Eligibility
Adobe Express - Students
All students currently enrolled at the University of Alberta, including graduate students, are eligible for Adobe Express at no charge.
Adobe Creative Cloud Pro Plus - Students
Students can also purchase an annual Creative Cloud Pro Plus subscription at a discounted rate.
Note: Creative Cloud Pro Plus is offered as a complete suite. Individual applications cannot be purchased separately through this licensing arrangement.
Adobe Acrobat Studio - Faculty and Staff
All Staff and Faculty (active employees) are eligible for Adobe Acrobat Studio at no charge.
Adobe Creative Cloud Pro Plus - Faculty and Staff
Faculty and Staff who require Adobe applications such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and other Creative Cloud applications can purchase an annual Creative Cloud Pro Plus subscription at a discounted rate.
Faculty and Staff Who Are Eligible
The following faculty and staff with active employment records at the University of Alberta are eligible:
- Support Staff
- Academic Staff
- Excluded Management
- Postdoctoral Fellows
Who Is Not Eligible?
The following individuals are not eligible for the University's Adobe licensing offerings:
- Emeritus professors
- Retired staff
- Individuals holding honorary or unpaid positions
- Alumni
- Clinical Academic Colleagues
- Employees without Active Job Records
- Guest and Prehire CCIDs
How to Get Adobe Software
Eligible faculty, staff, and students can request or purchase available Adobe products through the University of Alberta OnTheHub store:
