Downgrading .NET installation for KSR machines.

KSR .NET Framework Installation

** Recommend log in as Admin, or have an Admin account available.

Click on and type

Right- click on Registry Editor Icon and ‘Run as Administrator’

Once the Registry opens

Double click or expand the following:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
SOFTWARE
Policies
Microsoft
Windows
WindowsUpdate
AU.
In AU, Double Click UseWUServer, change the Value data: from 1 to 0

Once this value has been changed, reboot computer.

Once computer has rebooted, log in again as Administrator, or have an Admin account available.

Navigate to Control Panel ,

Locate , click on ‘Uninstall a program’

Click on ‘Turn Windows features on or off’

Locate .NET Framework 3.5 (includes .NET 2.0 and 3.0)and click (this will change option box to blue)
Click OK
This will install the required .NET software.
Once installed, restart computer.

The computer should now be equipped with the required software.
