IT Support for U of A Students, Staff and Guests
Introduction
This article will go over how to contact the IT Service Desk, which is now part of the Staff Service Centre and is the first point of contact for IT support for students, staff and guest.
Applicability
This article is for students, staff or faculty members, and guests at the University of Alberta who need assistance on how to contact the IT Service Desk with Issues regarding CCIDs, eduroam/network, or other university provided services and equipment.
Details
You can call the Staff Service Centre to reach the IT Service Desk at 780-492-8000, Ext 1. The hours of operation are Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM MST, excluding holidays.
You can also connect using our chatbot Vera, which can be found at https://www.ualberta.ca/en/information-services-and-technology/index.html. While the chatbot is 24/7, agents are only available for chats during our hours of operation.
You can also submit a ticket using the portal located at: https://universityofalberta.freshservice.com/support/home.
