During ‘enrollment” of your new voicemail box, the voicemail system will provide you with prompts to record your name; record your greeting, and change your password.
*The following best practices are recommended for choosing a password:
- Avoid using same digits more than twice in a row (example 900012)
- Avoid using fewer than three different digits (181818)
If you are going away on vacation, or going to be out of the office for an extended period, you may want to set up an alternate greeting.
The alternate greeting does not allow a message to be left on the voice mail, so it is best to give alternate contact information in the greeting.
To Set up an Alternate Greeting:
Now that you have finished enrolment you can set an Alternate Greeting
- Press 4 – Set up Options
- Press 1 – Greetings
- Press 3 – Edit Greetings
- Press 3 – Edit Alternate Greeting
