Roaming with a Corporate Mobile Phone

As of Oct 2023 both Bell Mobility and TELUS Mobility corporate mobile users have automatic roaming options for most regions added to their accounts. For the majority of users, you will need to ensure that you have authority to utilize your corporate phone for travel before taking it out of country to avoid any charge back or consequences.

This article is for use by University of Alberta Corporate cell phone subscribers.
Travelling With a University of Alberta Corporate Cell Phone
The University of Alberta corporate cell phones are the cell phones from Bell Mobility and TELUS Mobility on the Corporate Plan on the university main invoices.
For the Bell Mobility corporate cell phone, users do not need to request a travel plan. The Bell Daily Roam feature lays dormant until the user travels and then the Daily Roam is automatically added for whichever zone the user is travelling in. See plan info for additional details. Some regions are not included in the Daily Roam feature, please visit the Bell Mobility coverage map to ensure all regions you are travelling to are covered. Some locations may be Pay Per Use such as American Samoa. *NOTE* Cruise ships are not covered by Daily Roam.

For TELUS Mobility corporate cell phone, users do not need to request a travel plan. The TELUS Mobility Easy Roaming feature lays dormant until the user travels and then the Easy Roam is automatically added for whichever zone the user is travelling in. See plan info for additional details. Some regions are not included in the Easy Roam feature, please visit the TELUS Mobility coverage map to ensure all regions you are travelling to are covered. Some locations may be Pay Per Use such as American Samoa. *NOTE* Cruise ships are not covered by Easy Roam.
