Phone Moves, Adds, Changes and Deletions:
● No charges for changes completed in software
● No charges for VoIP installations or moves from telecom
● For PBX, we are changing them out to VoIP phones for any new phone or move requests. We do not bring TELUS in to move phones any longer.
7. What kind of training will be available?

8. Why did IST choose the TEMS system?
Through a Request for Proposal process, IST selected CGI as a vendor to manage a telephone expense system and mobile device management. Only two vendors met IST’s business requirements and IST selected the software that better suited the university’s needs.
9. Is the tool customized?
IST worked diligently with CGI to implement an “out of the box” tool meaning the TEMS application is not highly customized. Customized systems are costly and require excessive maintenance.

11. What should I do if I am locked out of the new system?
TEMS
The TEMS application will lock you out after three unsuccessful login attempts, but will reset after 30 minutes.

CCID
The application uses your CCID credentials to log in. If you have forgotten your CCID password, please consult ‘How to Reset a Forgotten Password’ found on IST’s website
12. How will I troubleshoot?
Start with clearing your browser's cookies when accessing the application for the first time and after an enhancement. For additional information, please see the ‘Troubleshooting’ document found on the Google site for detailed instructions to clear your browser’s cookies.

13. Can I use the application on my mobile device such as an iPad?
Although it is a web-based application, IST does not recommend accessing TEMS on a mobile device as the application was not designed for mobile devices.
14. Which web browser do you recommend to access the new system?
IST recommends using the following web browsers:
● Internet Explorer (IE) versions: 9.0, 10.0 and 11.0
● Firefox 38.0+
● Safari 7.0+
● Chrome 43+
Please note that IE is not supported on Windows Vista and XP. This application works best viewed on a 1280x1024-resolution monitor.
